Programs / Activities : Children’s Ministry

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about Children’s Ministry at Belleview Community. We are grateful to God for entrusting us with the opportunity to serve you and your children. We believe that children are created for a purpose and are precious gifts from God.

We also recognize the awesome responsibility of raising children. Modeling a life of faith that lays a firm foundation for your children can be rewarding, but also challenging.

God has planned for the church to help you in this challenging task. We are here to provide a loving environment where children experience the love of Jesus. We strive to create a fun, safe, and stimulating place for children to discover God’s purpose for their life.

Nursery

It is our desire that the nursery at Belleview be an extension of your home by providing quality care and security for your children. Excellent caregivers will lovingly demonstrate the love of Christ by their actions as well as their words.

 Belleview Blast 9:00 a.m. Sundays

Children K-6th grade are welcome for a time of singing, fun activities, and applicable lessons from the Bible. Located in the upstairs Chapel.

Sunday School

Children join their parents during the beginning of Sunday worship service. Children will be dismissed before the message begins to go to Sunday School.

Youth Group (Teenagers)

Being a teenager has never been harder than it is today. That’s why here at Belleview we have worked hard to create a safe, fun, and dynamic environment where students can be real with each other and think through the issues facing their lives in a healthy, constructive manner. Our world is calling students to give their lives to many unfulfilling and unproductive things. We believe that a person’s greatest need is spiritual so we call students to give their lives to Jesus Christ and submit to his lordship. We know each student by name and have found that students cherish adults who will love and care for them, and walk alongside them during difficult years.

Students grades 7 through 12 are invited to attend youth activities every Sunday morning from 9:00-10:00 and Wednesday evening from 6:15-7:45 p.m. Activities include weekly Bible discussion and fellowship, sharing, water skiing, snow boarding, camping, paintball, and sporting events.

Vacation Bible Adventure

Each summer we host a fun-filled adventure for children preschool to sixth grade. Children learn the value of friendship with God through Jesus Christ.

Curriculum

Our Sunday School teachers enthusiastically teach age-appropriate lessons that engage children. Every child in Celebrate Kids (age 3 – sixth grade) study the same Bible story with different teaching points to apply to their real life experience. We are excited to use Faith Weaver curriculum because it enhances family discussion, teaches the Bible from Genesis to Revelation in a three-year span, and stimulates spiritual growth.

Vision for Children’s Ministry

Our desire for Celebrate Kids is to:

empower families to spiritually nurture their children

encourage children to accept the gift of God’s grace

equip children as they grow into passionate followers of Christ

By God’s grace and the Holy Spirit’s power, we will accomplish this by helping children:

understand the value in studying the Bible

experience the power of prayer

recognize the joys and trials of discipleship

cultivate a passionate desire to share Christ with others

Belleview Community Church invites children to Fiesta: Where Kids are Fired Up about Jesus!

This year our church is sizzling hot as we experience Fiesta together! Our Fiesta program will provide fun, memorable Bible-learning activities for all ages. Each day kids will sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, nibble maraca munchies, take on a daily challenge to let JesusÎéÎ÷ love grow into their homes, experience electrifying Bible adventures, collect Bible memory Buddies, and create Bible point crafts theyÎéÎ÷ll take home and play with all summer long!

Each day concludes at Fiesta Finale-a celebration that gets everyone involved in living out what they have learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join us daily for this special time at 8:15 p.m. We hope Fiesta will light up our community with Jesus’ love!

Fiesta is an exciting way for kids to learn more about loving others. Kids will join nearly a million children in North America and complete blankets for needy children in Mexico. These blankets will then be delivered in person by our short-term missions team from Belleview in August.

Fiesta begins on Sunday, July 16 and continues through Thursday, July 20th. Meet at Belleview Community Church at 12472 W. Belleview each evening from 6:00-8:30 p.m.. To register, please call the church office
